Program Title: Free Legal Tech for Legal Professionals
Speaker: Elizabeth Bolles, Assistant Law Librarian, Harris County Law Library
Program Description: This program will cover legal apps and other tech solutions. The presenter will demonstrate the use of legal databases including Westlaw, Lexis, and O'Connor's Online, which are available on Law Library computers free of charge; as well as Fastcase and Casemaker, two databases accessible to members of the Texas Bar. This course will also explore options for conducting legislative history research through the Texas Legislative Reference Library, and for finding obscure items through the Hathi Trust Digital Repository.
