Program Title: Harris County Law Library Tech

Program Description: This program provides an overview of the research and drafting technology available to all for free through the Harris County Law Library. The course will focus on strategies for using databases for case law and statutory research, including techniques for finding relevant documents and updating research digitally using Westlaw and Lexis citators, annotations, and secondary sources. Students will explore research options for finding more elusive materials, like briefs, trial court documents, jury verdicts and settlements, forms/templates, and checklists.
