Now through September 22, the Houston Bar Association (HBA) Lawyers for Literacy Committee is holding a book drive. They are accepting new and gently used adult fiction and children's books and welcome monetary donations used to purchase new children's books. Donated books support local literacy agencies and the HBA's Little Free Libraries.
The Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library is a public drop-off location for the book drive. Book donations are accepted Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Law Library is located on the first floor of 1019 Congress St., Houston, TX 77002.
