Microsoft Office Lens, launched in 2015, is now called Microsoft Lens (for Apple and Android). It’s a free scanning app for mobile devices that lets you can scan documents on the go. According to Microsoft, the updated app will add the ability to “re-order pages, re-edit scanned PDFs, apply a filter to all images in the document, scan up to 100 pages as images or PDFs, and easily switch between local and cloud locations while saving PDFs.” It also includes features like Image to Table, Image to Contact, Immersive Reader, and QR Code Scan. Image to Text scans notes or any other document and offers you a digital version of the text on your phone or tablet.
