A Wellspring of Resources for Better Mental Health in the Legal Profession

Even pre-pandemic, attorneys and law students had high rates of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. According to the ALM’s 2021 Mental Health and Substance Abuse Survey, mental health issues in the legal industry only increased in 2020, and higher rates were reported in attorneys of color. Legal Research with a Side of Vaccine

At the Law Library, we want to connect our patrons with the most useful legal and government information available. Harris County Public Health has created an easy process that allows everyone to register for the vaccine through HCPH and other local providers on their website. To help all of our patrons access the tools they need to get vaccinated and help get things back to normal, we have added the HCPH website as a convenient shortcut to every public computer in the Law Library.
